Project Summary

The aim of the project is to create, create, pilot verify and evaluate the contents of a modular qualification concept for users in the field of (not only) adult education. The idea of the project “digiDozent – The way to a universal digital lecturer and organizer of educational activities” is that the project partners prepare an educational modular offer of topics for the target group of people who care for individuals or groups in education, moderate web conferences or want to train in virtual classrooms or organize the content of full-time or distance training. All this in order to adhere to and ensure the necessary innovative practices in the digital field of education, to ensure and maintain appropriate mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of adult learning policies and to continuously monitor and track the progress of adult learners.
The project aims to support trainers and education coordinators, including educators, youth workers, education leaders, HR professionals and support staff. This will strengthen the capacity of the designated professions in digital pedagogical competences, while strengthening institutions in the field of education to be prepared to respond and adapt to digital education, thus mitigating the potential impact of the crisis that may arise after the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the countries where the project partners operate, there are many people who provide teaching and education, resp. they organize the educational process, look for suitable forms of education, involve participants in education, prepare specific educational content with the involvement of a range of teaching and educational methods. However, these people have, as a rule, varying degrees of mastery of the necessary methods and skills. And the project “digiDozent – The way to a universal digital lecturer and organizer of educational activities” responds to this fact by creating a modular offer of educational content for the mentioned target group, which will provide theoretical and practical knowledge about basic knowledge suitable for use by lecturers, teachers and educational coordinators. and retraining courses, etc. Participants in pilot courses created modular offerings will learn skills that will enable them to understand or improve their work with new media and platforms, acquire basic didactic and methodological procedures suitable for leading and creating educational content that is necessary for their later practical use. The modular offer can be imagined as a kit from which for each individual participant, for his education and development, only a directly selected part of the spectrum of competencies of a “universal digital lecturer and organizer of educational activities” will be used, ie his education will always be targeted.
The main benefits of the introduced new methods are the possibility of influencing the whole process of teaching and setting and the specific targeting of the educational program according to the individual needs of its participants. It is also a continuous control of the performance of individual participants and the possibility of influencing the sequence of activities at any time during the training course so that the educational activity leads as much as possible to its goal – to improve the participant’s abilities and skills, personal growth and new knowledge.
At the present time, when the coronavirus crisis is at its peak and all full-time education is suspended, the distance form of education and its effective use (based on previous quality preparation and elaboration of topics, the art of choosing the application of various tools and methods in conducting online education) is on the rise. and it turns out that such forms of education will be a trend in the field.
