Project Summary

DILABS is part of a dynamic process to raise awareness about key competences and basic skills in a work situation. Our objective was to capitalise on experiences, teaching and training approaches at European level. While digital technology plays an important role in training offer and educational practices, DILABS provides a set of online results (educational outputs in the form of booklets, online activities, videos, etc.) and examples of innovative practices in classrooms that foster collaborative work. Thus, we wanted to focus on analysing contexts in the project partner countries, analysing training situations, and identifying and pinpointing the competence in a given situation in the perspective of transferring the results in various professional contexts and committing on methodology.
The consortium was made of 8 European organisations from France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Portugal, Poland, Norway: vocational training organisations, private and small companies dedicated to adult education and training of trainers, NGO, universities and higher education institution (public and private).
The project deals with key competences such as communication (languages), digital skills, and soft skills for citizenship and employability (team building, teamwork, cooperation, critical thinking, cultural awareness). With DILABS we can deliver digital tools and videos to raise awareness in the field of key competences and resources to learn how to film and how to analyse the activity.
The consortium implemented learning activities all along the project (study visits, or training sessions) in order for the participants to understand the European contexts, to be trained to use the digital tools and videos for educational purposes, to film and to develop online training. These activities fostered the enrichment of the participants’ practices for the benefit of their organisation and the learners, and contributed to the valorisation of the results and the improvement of the intellectual outputs. We developed a Moodle platform (Creative Commons) with open access to the results of the project, to the pedagogical resources and videos (channel dedicated to DILABS).
The target and beneficiaries of the project are teachers and trainers, and professionals involved in adult education or in work-based training, human resources managers, tutors, coach, and students in Sciences of education.
