Project Summary
In its 2020 vision, the EU emphasized adult education, digital society, technology literacy and the spread of employment tools. In every society there is a certain proportion of disabled people and this is the ordinary fact of the society, however, the disabled people face big problems due to their secondary health problems caused by their disabilities, and they are insufficient to solve these problems on their own. For this reason, our project aims to integrate disabled people into social and commercial life based on traditional handicrafts. In our project, achievable targets are determined and applicable activities are designed. This is also important for the EU’s 2020 vision. Our project also allows for the dissemination of good practices among partners in the EU through the “good practice guide”.
The partnership consists of six organisations that are very active for disabled people. These are: Hanta Associates LTD-UK , SUBMEET ASSOCİATİON-IT, GONDOMAR-PT, NOI-RO, AKED and HEYDER -TR. Project partnerships are made up of organisations that are active in adult adult education, and are founded to supporting and motivating disabled people in the society.
The problem that the project tries to contribute to the solution of the project is as old as the history of humanity, and it has been tried to solve the problems with the understanding and opportunities of the time period, and it has been tried to determine the humanistic approaches from the day when the human rights came to the fore, and this training has become more and more apparent with our project. In our project, human dignity is supported and activities related to the integration of social and commercial life are designed without any need for others. In case of successful operations, we will also reach the specific goals we are trying to achieve.
Our specific goals are;
– Gaining new skills for the disabled people
– Increasing the quality of life of disabled people with our project,
– Being part of social and commercial life,
– Reduction of secondary health problems and health expenses as a result of increased life energies,
– Supporting social awareness against disability issues,
– Networking and information sharing at EU level,
– Strengthening the sense of EU citizenship and
– Developing the capacity to establish and participate in existing organisations at transnational level in our project partners,
are our special targets.
Our project activities are designed to contribute to the solution of the problems of the target audience. In this context,
– Traditional handicrafts,
– Entrepreneurship,
– Web designing,
– Online face to face marketing techniques training will be given to disabled people.
In our project, it is expected that disabled people will produce quality handicraft works, gain financial income through the commercial size and sale of the product and their quality of life will increase.
These include innovative approaches and a “good practice guide” to be used in order to spread the innovative approaches at the EU level. This booklet will be delivered online or in print to the concerned, contributing to the Erasmus + visibility study besides contributing to the solution of the problems of the disabled people.
The report will be prepared with the participation of all the project partners and the national reports to be prepared within the scope of the project will also be used.
After the implementation of the project with the support of Erasmus + program, high quality, unique results will be obtained.
