Project Summary

„Effective Parenting in Active Society” (E-PASs) is innovative project about life problems – young persons and young parents unemployment, their and their kids social inclusion in local society. 8 organization from 8 countries (EU and Western Balkan) will came together and discuss parents attitude about their children, the role of families’ social and economical situation and how it makes influence on their integration in local society, and of course about the different ways how to grow up our children. In each country’s group will be one social worker or psychologist or a participant who is able to talk about their countries’ young, unemployed parents and their children problems.

The activities and workshops will cover the tasks about parents unemployment and its role in their social life, whether it makes any differences and whether it influences on family life, social inclusion in local society and children personal development or not.

This project will be held in the city of Nicsik and has a duration of 12 months, beginning on October 1, 2015 and the terminus September 30, 2016, consisting of two activities: Training Course in 12-20 November /2015 and Youth Exchange in 14 to 23 January/2016.

During the TC, with 32 participants, 2 trainer, 1 facilitator and 4 support staff from 8 countries, UK, Turkey, Estonia, Czech Republic, Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro will discuss the possibility of creating formal spaces to promote active tools of employment.

In Youth Exchange, 32 youth (age 18-30) and 8 leaders (no age limit) from different countries of Europe, UK, Turkey, Estonia, Czech Republic, Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro may develop the ideas generated during the first activity.

The project activities will focus on the family values in different cultures and countries, young parenting in different societies, youth unemployment, possibilities to combine parenting and active career.
Young people will present their cultures, family stereotypes, prejudices and modern look, will analyze the influence of the religion.
Also young people will share their experience in job search and opportunities in their countries, discuss unemployment problems among youth.
