Project Summary
The aim of the project is to include young people healing in addiction centers from 2 European countries in the development process and to adapt the method of therapeutic community to the current conditions and the specificity of modern addiction. The goal will be implemented by including project groups consisting of patients treating patients in centers and those who have already completed therapy and specialists. In total, 8 employees from 2 organizations and 10 patients (of whom at least 2 who have completed therapy) will take part in the project.
The program aims to explore and improve the entire therapeutic cycle in the context of theoretical knowledge and patients’ experiences with particular reference to the first months of therapy, which are the most difficult for patients.
The project is also important due to the constant change in the nature of addiction, which over the years has changed radically and compared the method of therapeutic community – it was at a similar level as in the 90s, which means the risk of maladjustment to the present times.
