Project Summary
In line with the Europe 2020 Strategy, while respecting the horizontal priority of social inclusion, the project aims to promote inclusiveness, diversity, equality, gender balance and non-discrimination in education in the EU. Our project aims at promoting and assuming common civic values, equality and non-discrimination and social inclusion through the development of social, civic and intercultural competences through critical thinking, by developing social entrepreneurship skills, as well as communicating in English economic, social, civic, for students aged 14 to 18 from the four partner schools in the project
The purpose of the E.C.A.T.S.E. is the training and improvement of the social entrepreneurship skills of pupils aged between 14 and 18 from 4 partner schools, favoring their social inclusion by developing social, civic, intercultural, linguistic, self-esteem competences and on-line safety in a European environment, for 24 months
Specific objectives:
1.Developing skills to teach social entrepreneurship knowledge to 8 teachers from 4 schools in Romania Turkey Bulgaria and Italy in 2 years through
exchange of experience in the field of methods, techniques, modern teaching strategies and school curriculum
2.Developing the competences and abilities of social entrepreneurship by developing and capitalizing on intercultural social, civic, critical thinking skills in 32 students from 4 partner countries, which have resulted in the establishment of 16 training firms to capitalize on the values, cultural and social aspects of each partner country in the project, favoring social inclusion, for 2 years.
3.Developing the skills and abilities to produce 4 catalogs, virtual, in English, one for each partner country, including 4 business plans of the established firms which also assure the development of ITC and linguistic skills used in the field of entrepreneurship in 2 years of each project partner
The results:
32 students will have the knowledge
skills and competences needed to initiate and develop a business with local or European implications on the social environment, encouraging the integration and social inclusion of young graduates,
32 students will have the power to develop business plans using ITC tools
32 pupils will have the competence to harness the cultural, social, civic values of each country in the business plans they propose
32 students will have linguistic skills to communicate on entrepreneurial topics in English
8 teachers will have the skills to use modern teaching methods and strategies in teaching social entrepreneurship knowledge
a portfolio of lesson types used to teach social entrepreneurship knowledge
16 exercise firms set up with a social character that can solve the problems of local communities
16 business plans
4 virtual catalogs with business plans made by schools in partner countries
an etwinning project for the development of social e-commerce
4 webpage, instagram account, youtube channel, brochure and photo gallery, videos of the activies in the tangible results, 4 articles in the press
5 guides on social entrepreneurship in Romanian Turkish Bulgarian Italian and English.
A project website where all project activities and results will be viewed.
A calendar designed by the students during the short term exchanges. It will contain the cultural heritage of the partner countries on each page.
Leaflets in English and in the official languages of the partner schools to promote the project activities.
Multimedia presentations, mottos, posters on the project topic created by the participant students.
An etwinning project on social entrepreneurship.
The short-term impact will be: – Forming and developing the entrepreneurial skills of the students participating in the project, as well as the economic teaching skills of the 8 teachers who use effective and innovative methods and techniques for teaching economic sciences; – increasing the level of emancipation and self-esteem of students; -increasing the level of linguistic knowledge
application of ITC competences in the development of social entrepreneurship
Medium and long-term impact:
-all pupils from the 4 schools in the project, due to the example of the 32 pupils participating in the project, achieving the sustainability of the project
32 students will learn about their experience in carrying out social entrepreneurial activities and will lead to a sense of respect and respect for them, but also towards the community, working environment, employment institutions, will ensure their social integration and over 80% of school pupils, which ensures the sustainability of the project

more than 80% of the students in the four schools will be aware of the need to participate in education and social involvement in the future
The results of the project will be the basis of the teaching materials used in the development of social entrepreneurial activities
