Project Summary

The project aims at connecting European vocational schools within school exchanges that meet the following needs:
– development of learner’s cultural knowledge discovering the heritage treasures of each partner
– openness to European professional culture through visits of companies and local institutions
– application of language knowledge in the process of acquisition at school

The learners involved in the project are from the tertiary sector, Administrative and Management field and Commerce field. These students , who are often from relatively underprivileged socio-economic backgrounds are chosen according to criteria established in cooperation with the differnt partners : motivation to commit oneself in the project, involvement in their training, building a professional project, curiosity and desire for cultural openness in order to develop the European citizenship.

The school exchanges will be prepared and organized by the sudents, supervised by members of the school staff of each partner involved in the project.
The first contacts between the participants will be virtual in order to dicover gradually the living environment in which every student will be during his mobility.
The scheduled activities during the exchanges will be divided between time within the families and the host school , as well as cultural and professional visits. .

As far as learners are concerned, the expected results are : language improvement as well as professional and personal enrichment.

As far as shools, the analysis and the results of the project will be disseminated within their structure and towards their partners, in order to carry on, strengthen or encourage new exchange projects and European mobilities.
