Modern school’s overall purpose is to provide a high quality education in a welcoming and friendly environment and inspire the student to flourish as a person in school and beyond. The project “EUstudents in EUwonderland” provides various opportunities to develop individuality, curiosity and a breadth of interests. Students will participate in a full range of social, cultural, artistic and sporting activities: active involvement in the projects’ activities will give students better understanding of World Cultural Heritage, democracy and human rights,a sense of responsibility; supporting a charity will develop their generosity of spirit and compassion; many artistic projects will build students’ appreciation of European culture and arts; organizing a school trip will improve their management skills and increase team spirit; European Cultural Heritage Corner will remain a valuable long term resource for the whole school community. All the project activities are based on student-centred approach and were carefully designed to make the most of rich diversity of participating countries. By exchanging the outputs of the project students will get a big insight into everyday lives of the Europeans, their values, culture and traditions. They will cross the borders and personally experience the reality of their European peers while exchanging traditional letters and visiting their homes and schools. We carefully selected five other project partners. They appear reliable, hard-working and aspiring to raise their standards of education. We will happy to share our experience with two new partners from towns in Greece and Turkey. The Italian school promotes cultural and linguistic diversity; Slovenian school has some experience with Cultural Heritage projects but they want to become even better with awareness of different European heritage.Polish school would like their students to be prepared to the challenges of 21st century and want them to “fit into” job market , find rewarding jobs and be successful.Greek school needs some help to start its Erasmus + adventure.Portugal wants to train and teach us some innovative methods of teaching and ICT tools and resources we to bring into our classrooms.Portugal partners are also eager to increase the youth participation in the international events.Spain has a lot of experience in youth projects and a lot to show and teach us in a playful and educational perspective, adapted to the target audience of this project, in order to provide an educational and fun experience.Turkish school is interested in the issues of environment, foreign cultures, folk dances, history, education, art, music, sports, foreign languages, science, technology, new education methods and technique. All schools boasts of great sense of cooperation among the staff.Partnership among these schools can be greatly inspiring and aspire both, teachers and students to be more responsible, supportive, creative and concerned about the world’s issues.
