Project Summary

The strategic partnership “Exodus” is part of the exchange of good practises among European organizations working in the field of adult education, especially in favour of migrants, political refugees, asylum seekers and second generations. Our area of intervention will focus on the reinforcement and development of the life-long key competences of adult learners with fewer opportunities through inclusive activites such as art therapy, performing arts, ESC (European Solidarity Corps) volunteering, search and creation of work, human rights campaigns and social/digital media communication.
The strategic partnership “Exodus” is the result of previous and separate cooperations among the project organizations: YMCA Parthenope Onlus (Italy), Alrahallah theater – berlin (Germany), International Labur Association (Turkey), Rosto Solidario (Portugal), CET PLATFORM SKOPJE (Republic of Northern Macedonia) and Asociacion Juvenili Intercambia (Spain).
Objectives of the strategic partnership for the exchange of good practises are, above all: reinforce the cooperation among the organization involved; increase the process to exchange good practises for the inclusion and integration of migrants; create the on-line web platform “Exodus”; increase the social impact of our digital/social media communication, art therapy activites, performing arts of dance, ESC volunteering, working occupation and human right campaigns through multiplying initiatives emboddied in our international meetings and training events.
The direct participants in the activities organized by our strategic will 108 educators and staff. Their profile foresees a strong motivation to participate in their professional training and growth as they are cultural mediators, human rights activists, performing and therapeudical art trainers, digital experts in photography/video-making/social media), coordinators of ESC volunteers, coaches for finding and/or creating work.
The activities whcih our partnership wishes to hold are:
3 organizational/administrative meetings (kick-off meeting, mid-term meeting, final evaluation meeting);
6 training events (with local multiplying effects, too) dedicated to development and learning of inclusive practises and techniques in favour of migrants through digital/social communication, art therapy, dancing/performing art, ESC volunteering, work coaching and creation of human rights campaigns for migrants, asylum seekers, political refugees and second generations.
The general methodology of the project will be the experiential learning, also known as “Learning by doing”, “Peer to peer” peer education and”Coaching”. These methods will first allow the acquisition of competences from the inputs generated by the trainers and then the sharing and exchange of knowledge by the participants.
The results of the project wil be, first of all, the creation of the on-line web platform “Exodus” for the social inclusion of migrants and the on-line integration of the partnership organizations, with all the tutorials and audio/video content coming from the training courses realized, with all the training resources of the partnership organizations, with the summarizing documentation of the whole partnership experience and with the increase of the key competences of the participating educatos in their professional paths.
The impact will be initially measurable by the partner organizations, which, thanks to this project, will have the opportunity to increase their educators and staff knowledge and competences, to trasnfer, then, the results obtained to other bodies, associations and organizations working in the same sector.
The potential benefits on the long term, thanks to the administrative, training and multipying events, will be able to generate a real cooperative environment, first of all among the partner organization, then among the areas which work for a social improvement and a concept of a more and more inclusive society formed by migrants, too.
