Project Summary

Extemporize your Educations is a project that wants to find teach in an innovative way how to express their knowledge, their culture and their personality and diversity.
The aim of the project is to design a model of inclusive education that has as its object the development of transversal competences – social, inclusive, relational – and to use the tools of sport and theater to allow young people to recognize themselves and consequently to recognize oneself in the world around them and communicate with others, using the best possible vehicle: one’s body and emotions. So let them identify their limitations, treat them and above all recognize the value of the other and the space that covers not only the physical but above all the intellect: this is the basis for establishing civil and inclusive relationships.
The initiative aims to create an innovative training model that allows students to strengthen and improve those personal skills and abilities that enable them to relate to the world around them.
Thanks to a combined design of inclusive and transversal, sporting and theatrical / artistic actions, it is intended to create a personal added value and offer an innovative and collective observation of basic and transversal skills.
An in-depth personal analysis, a careful study of soft skills and the types of language and expression used in education, sport and gaming together with their translation into English in the everyday world will enable students to understand the various worlds and communicate in different ways.
Specifically, the project will insist on the following skills:
• cognitive and methodological, developing innovative solutions to problem solving and searching for different opportunities and improving awareness, knowledge, coordination, perception and spatial, temporal and physical representation;
• communication, providing the right tools and the correct parameters to be expressed also in different ways and with different languages, reaching the same result;
• social and relational, providing the key methodologies and tools to be in a group, work effectively and in a shared way, gain awareness of lifestyles;
• inclusive, which go beyond the strictly cognitive ones and promote the integration between the context and emotions, cultural devices and those materials.
