Project Summary

The main idea of the project is cognitive and creative journey. This journey begins with the discovery of world and national artists of fine arts and it ends with the discovery of artistic creativity in each participants.
The participants of the Slovak – Czech – Polish – Italian project get to know 10 world and 5 national greats of fine arts of each partner country. They find out interesting facts about their life, work, period in which they created. They choose their works that become an inspiration for their own creative reflections. They learn new art techniques and learn about new art materials. Thanks to the most successful student works, we discover artistic talents among children.
The activities we used: art, history and regional lessons, excursions, discussions with artists, creative workshops and international meetings of teachers and students. Student works are presented at school exhibitions and final openings. The main output of the project is the Guide of Fine Arts as a printed brochure. Thanks to this brochure the project will continue in schools and is also reminder of everything we have achieved and discovered together in this project.
