Project Summary

The project aims to illustrate, through clothing creations imagined and realized by the students, under the guidance of their teachers, the strong links between fashion and the various forms of performing arts.

This project involved the participation of 8 Vocational Schools in Europe.

The Billericay school from London illustrates the circus, the OSZ from Berlin the cabaret, the Istituto Professionale Primo Levi from Parma the Opera, the Liceo Enzo Rossi from Rome the cinema, Modatex from Lisbon and Porto the classical dance, the Institute Anna Gironella de Mundet from Barcelona the contemporary dance, the Octave Feuillet High School the music hall and the Turquetil High School the intermissions.

Students and teachers from each school worked together 7 times to set up the project to produce boards and clothing.
The objectives are: Create a scenography and a final fashion show in Paris, learn about the different pedagogical and managerial practices, develop cooperation strategies, deepen the learning and appetite for English, strengthen European citizenship.

The objectives were achieved, the joint work that lasted nearly 3 years resulted in the creation of a solid foundation to develop the partnership after the end of the project.
The students became aware of the reality of mobility opportunities within the European area.
