Project Summary

The possibilities to plan and carry out good educational and well-planned teaching is continually getting better and for the group members in this context it has been very important to focus on the use of ICT.
The use of ICT in education is developing rapidly and both software and hardware is continuously evolving and opportunities, which technically seemed impossible just a few years ago, are now easily accessible to all. In our Erasmus+ group we have greeted this development very welcome but have also been very aware that in order to explore its opportunities in a good and constructive way, it is necessary to immerse ourselves and create routines, so that the teacher is continuously able to adapt, when development occurs rapidly. By the support of ICT we have also seen that it is possible to develop innovation and entrepreneurship in all subjects.
In this project we both divided into routines but also did our best to help and inspire our colleagues across Europe, so it will not be the main thesis that a teacher must master an ICT application, before it can be used in teaching. We have challenged ourselves and each other to focus on that many pupils enjoy and are used to a playful and experimental approach to ICT, and this has also been an excellent opportunity for us as teachers. The teachers participating in our cooperation are all working at public schools and the pupils are primarily in primary school. We have all been cooperating about a lot of useful and current tasks: how to make good transnational cooperation using eTwinning, tests as signs of learning, pros and cons about web2 tools like Geogebra and Padlet, tools for web2 application like Flubaroo, theoretical approach to our tasks like 21st century skills, Bloom’s digital taxonomy, and the theory of the 4C’s, making of apps, how to promote sedentary work, math competition about our logo, entrepreneurship and innovation, self-assessment, as a school how to improve our teaching by using Technology Enhanced Learning roadmap, how to avoid early school leaving, zone of proximal development when using ICT, our ICT equipment, digital images in teaching, video and audio recording and much more.
For us it is very important that our project has taken place across national borders in the EU and on our homepage everyone is able to read about all of our results and get inspired to use some of our results in their own teaching.
Overall, we can safely conclude that all our tasks have been a great inspiration and joy for both pupils and teachers. Our results have also enabled us to continuously revise and rewrite our teaching plans within ICT at all schools. In this way, we now stand on a completely different professional, much better and more secure foundation and this development has in every way a long-term effect. We now know for sure that we have the good experience that we will constantly have to experiment with our ICT education, as progress is so fast at all levels. In the same way, we know and have tools for how to continuously rewrite our local ICT curricula so that we are constantly ensuring that all our pupils, both strong and academically weak, have the optimal development opportunities in all subjects taught .
