Project Summary
PEOPLE – feel good; BENEFIT – benefit for life; KNOW – learn diversity!
These three areas are areas in our school to which we attach great importance. Therefore, we have incorporated them into our school mission statement so that we are always reminded of them. Every teacher tries to do his best to implement these three pillars in the classroom.
With this Erasmus+ project, which we designed together with the HTL in Ceske Budejovice, we wanted to offer our students, but also the participating teachers, the opportunity to develop in the area of the training firm, but also in the related theoretical subjects. No matter what position you are in, whether you are a student or a teacher, a worker or a supervisor, you should have the experience of working with people who do not belong to the same culture, who do not speak the same language, and who are therefore not “the same” as us. All this could be made possible with this project.
We were able to share our knowledge of training firms and junior companies, as well as all our previous knowledge with our project partner, exchange information, hear other points of view and learn from each other. It was very interesting to see how another school especially from another country sees this system of ÜFA (fictitious company). First and foremost, our project partner wanted to learn from us how to run a training firm, which areas have to be considered and how the daily routine in such a company works. The differences between the fictitious company (ÜFA) and the real company (JC) were particularly interesting. Are there differences? Which are these and especially, how is the process – which differences are there in the process of such a lesson. All these areas were worked on together during the stay of the Budweiser school with us in Freistadt.
We started this project together with a positive feeling and for our part we can clearly state that the goals were largely achieved – to learn from each other, to learn with each other and to benefit from each other.
