Project Summary

The project “Game for the health – game for the future” is the response to needs of every target group which takes part in the project: students, parents, teachers and local community. It indicates the objectives.
The main objective is:
improvement of children and their familes’ habits in the area of their everyday life during realization of the project
Morover the objectives are:
learning about good and bad eating habits
learning about ways of spending free time actively
learning about basic rules oral hygiene
learning about new methods facilitating to deal with stress, emotions
implementing to care about enviornmentartner
enhancement of institutions’ quality, especially in the area of good everyday life habits
Each partner will implement the examples of good practice to the project.
The target group involved in the project directly will be the group of 16 teachers from partner institutions, children and their families. Teachers directly involved in the project are open to innovations and creative approach to learning, especially at the lowest level of education.
There will be 6 short training meetings in order to achieve intended objectives. During meetings teachers can share their experience about innovative methods of work with children, take part in open classes, discussions, theme workshops. Moreover, between these meetings, institutions will implement acticities in order to achieve the results and products, such as:
innovation “Game for the health – game for the future” including innovative methods and tools for work with children – printout
Cooking on-screen – video, videoconferences
cookery book – for seasons – printout
scenario of workshops for parents and teachers
To realize the project eTwinning platform will be used which will be the base of materials and tools as the project for each partner, entitled the same “Game for the health – game for the future”.
For efficient implementation of the project the Polish management group and project groups in every partner institution will be created. this group will determine objectives, ways and methods of achieving the results, the roles and tasks for every partner school.
Main results to be achieved:
gaining skills to detemine good and bad eating habits by children
increasing knowledge about ways of spending free time actively
gaining skills of appropriate oral hygiene
increasing competences in the area of using methods facilitating to deal with stress, emotions
gaining attitude to care about enviornmentart
improving knowledge about innovative methods and tools to realize activities to promote healthy lifestyle
changing the attitude to care about our health and others’
growth of parents and local community awareness, including institutions acting in the area of education, about importance of healthy lifestyle for future generations
enhancement of institutions’ quality, especially in the area of good everyday life habits
Implementation of the project will indicate not only the importance of lifelong education but also gaining experience in order to enhance profesional competences and gaining high eduacational standards to the whole local community in partner countries. And what is more important, it will indicate the importance of acquiring experience in order to improve profesional competences of a staff and indeed, achieving high standards of education. It will encourage parents to use new solutions, methods of work with children in order to gain educational results and prepare them to live in a constantly changing reality. Participation in the project will encourage teaching staff from other institutions to gain new professional competences, acquire experience from other educational systems as a way to achieve success in work with children, their families and enhancement of the quality of education.
