Project Summary
CONTEXT
Irresponsible consumption of water can lead to a disaster that will affect billions of human beings in the future. With this reality in mind, we have taken on the mission to change the way in which people relate to water and we choose to begin inoculating this into the young minds of these days that will emerge as the adults of tomorrow. We want our students to turn the subject matter upside down and inner out, to research about water as it used to be regarded through our ancestors, water and the way in which we consume it nowadays and the outcomes of irresponsible consumption for the future of mankind. We choose them to become active defenders and promoters of responsible water usage, to initiate nearby campaigns “Save the water for your children”, to analyse people’s behaviour towards water in their nearby communites and share them with our partners. Also, for the duration of the project, we want to check out and come up with a layout to flip our colleges into water-friendly schools and make neighborhood authorities enforce this design on numerous institutions in our areas, so that we can definitely make a difference in the end. Small drops like this will become an ocean.
OBJECTIVES
1. to make bigger information about water from one of a kind views – scientific, cultural, literary, inventive – at least 60% of students
2. to elevate students’ consciousness of the importance of water for the humankind – min. 70% of students
3. to assist students become aware of accepted problems about water scarcity and customize them to their neighborhood context

Between the transnational events, students will work on the subject matter of the exchanges, applying surveys and examining the, creating poems, paintings, posters, initiating local campaigns to elevate focus about water depletion to improve their college premises and turn it into a water-friendly school. They present all their work in online conferences on eTwinning.
PARTICIPANTS
Pupils will be the foremost actors in neighborhood and transnational activities. The age range of the individuals in exchanges is 11-12. 80 college students will be chosen to take part in C1-C5, 5 college students from each sending school/exchange. These pupils will be accompanied by using 2 teachers. The profile of the accompanying instructors is related to the subject of each exchange.
For C5, participants are three instructors from every faculty (a total of 12 teachers). These are the college principals, the coordinators and one mission member who coordinates the Water Friendly School (WFS) graph and its sustainability.
RESULTS
They create posters of the project, videos about nearby water supplies, create maps of water sports activities services in their area, practice surveys and questionnaires on contributors of the neighborhood neighborhood to measure the consumption of water and observe the motive of water consumption in households earlier than and after the project, to measure its impact. They are concerned in organization of nearby campaigns to raise people’s cognizance about the effects of irresponsible water use, make flyers, parades etc. Together with teachers, they discover inefficient water use in their schools, so that they can come up with solutions to make the college water-friendly. During exchanges, they attend lessons about water, are concerned in bodily things to do (e.g. water sports), create artwork, songs and posters in multicultural groups, will go on field trips to take water samples and measure its drinkability. Toward the cease of the project, teachers and students create a graph to flip the school into water-friendly environments. These plans are by means of the teachers all through C5 and tailored into a remaining model which will be exceeded in to local authorities that will expand the use of the layout to countless faculties in the regions.
IMPACT
Schools will gain a appropriate popularity by involving the pupils and instructors in community problems and trying to increase attention about nearby problems that can affect the pleasant of life.
Schools will also set an example of eco-friendliness that we assume different colleges to follow. The water problems are solely one phase of the environmental troubles we are confronted with, so we can proceed growing projects on these issues.
Our institutions will emerge as greater welcoming to students, as we will be in the spotlight on the duration of the project. The
