Project Summary

The project has resulted from a joint work between 4 European schools (Spain, Germany and Slovakia), which raised the same problems and needs: improving the environment, promoting sport and making use of new innovative methods that promote the use and updating of new technologies for students and teachers.
The main objectives of the project have been carried out by two years. Through different activities, the participants have acquired a greater knowledge and awareness of the different environmental realities of the participating countries and their impact on current societies. In addition, thanks to the collaborative activities at the European level and to the mobility, students and teachers have improved their skills in German, English and Spanish. The most of these activities have also promoted the improvement of the digital skills of the educational community.

Also, the main objectives were focused on the environment, innovative technologies and resources and languages. They have been worked on jointly between the partners and more than 2000 students, families and teachers, have benefited directly or indirectly from their realization, about thirty students per center have had the opportunity to participate in the mobilities and about 6 teachers from each center, in the exchange of practices and experiences in order to achieve the expected results. We must emphasize that the teachers have been represented in all stages of education and specialties: infant, primary, bilingual team and ICT “expert” teachers, management teams and teachers of students with special educational needs. Thanks to this, the entire faculty has been involved in local activities carried out in their country as well as in the training and work groups carried out, especially in Robotics, Scracht and Orientation.

In addition, as it was indicated in the description of the activities / mobilities, the fact that the Management Teams participate actively and directly in the project, has favored their involvement and leadership when developing certain tasks such as dissemination, evaluation, request of new projects, curricular and methodological changes, etc.
In the case of families, we have seen the number of proposals grow to collaborate both in the sending and in the reception of foreign visiting students and we can affirm that it has been a success for the centers in terms of the participation of the educational communities in it.

The project proposed the following: 3 short-term exchanges for teachers, with 3 participants from each center, which have been carried out normally and 3 exchanges for students of 13 students and 2 companions, of which the last one in Berlin was not held due to the current COVID pandemic situation. Regarding the specificity of the activities, it can be seen in the corresponding section, however, we take the opportunity to clarify that activity C6 has not been indicated, since after reading the Instructions sent by the SEPIE, we understood that it was not necessary if already 100% expenses were justified with the rest of the mobilities. In our case, in the two student mobility abroad, the number of participants has increased (6 more in each one), and in the activities carried out in Seville, in which the entire 6th and 5th year class participated respectively (54 students in total)
The same happens with the participation of teachers at the local level, in which the majority of the faculty has joined.

Among the most outstanding results, there has been a substantial improvement in proficiency in German and an increase in digital competences, especially in the independence of students / teachers when using new applications to create content, in managing the proposed platforms and in the use of tablets and mobile devices.

Once completed, the centers have incorporated into their projects and educational practice, the realization of experienced activities such as plant markings through QR codes, preparation of maps with itinerary routes through parks and gardens, classroom materials on development sustainability and climate change, etc.

All materials and results are available to any user on the Results Platform and on project websites / blog. They can be reused by other teachers without limits to use or restrictions, always using public domain software.
The dissemination activities continue to be developed and we have prepared a new request (in reserve) in order to continue working in the same line, in this case, focusing on virtual work, since everything we have learned, we have been able to put into practice due to confinement (working with computer and technological resources)
