Project Summary

The most important task of every educational institution is the quality education of students. However, also another especially important aspect that should not be forgotten is the education of students’ health and the teaching of a healthy lifestyle. Students spend most of their time in school. Therefore, it is particularly important to pay attention to the physical, emotional, social health of students. 2016-2025 The WHO’s physical activity strategy focuses on physical activity as a key factor for health and well-being in the European region. Physical activity and sport are understood not only as essential elements for the growth of a happy and healthy child, but also having a positive impact on his or her further personality development and the formation of healthy lifestyle skills. Physical activity is one of the many factors that strengthen and maintain health. Meanwhile, low physical activity in adolescence is associated with increased obesity, irregular spinal posture, and other health problems. In addition to physical activity, students’ healthy lifestyle skills and emotional health are no less important. Scientific research has shown that physical activity is also important for the well-being and self-esteem of children and adolescents. According to WHO research, many students complain of various emotional disorders – mood swings, headaches, abdominal pain, etc.
The target group of the project is 14/16 year olds secondary/vocational (secondary level) education students.
The aim of the project is to strengthen students’ physical and emotional health and to develop healthy lifestyle skills.
To achieve this we need:
1. To get acquainted with the experience of the project partner countries and to create conditions for students to implement joint activities.
2. To increase social inclusion through the implementation of planned activities that promote physical and emotional health
3. To encourage changes in student behavior related to consumption habits and lifestyles.
4. To promote international cooperation between students, to expand students ‘cultural awerennes and improve foreign language (English) skills.
Expected results of the project:
1. At least 70% of the project participants will improve their emotional, physical health and knowledge of a healthy lifestyle
2. The project will involve at least 30 students with various difficulties (economy, social and ect.)
3. In each school participating in the project will be set up self-help and emotional support group (peer suport)
4. ​​will be improved students general competences and knowledge of foreign languages skills (english)
Students will create:
5. Leaflet, poster (physical and emotional health/compsumptions habit/healthy lifestyle)
6. Comics book
7. Presentation (physical and emotional health/compsumptions habit/healthy lifestyle)
