Project Summary

The project “Healthy Life, Better Life, Longer Life” with code: 2018-1-EL01-KA201-047760 and with a duration of two years (01/10 / 2018-30 / 9/2020) included the following six (6) schools :
• 1st Primary School of Efkarpia-Greece (Coordinator school)
• Osnovna skola Stjepan Radic Oprisavci-Croatia
• 107 Primary school “Khan Krum”-Bulgaria
• Scoala Gimnaziala Nr. 16 Take Ionescu-Romania
• CEIP AMBRA-Spain
• Agrupamento Escolas A Lã e a Neve-Portugal
Analytically:
A. Two (2) TPM were performed:
The first one in Efkarpia Greece: 23,24,25/01/2019 with the participation of 12 teachers (two from each school). The tasks were divided for each school, the LTTA dates (C1 and C2), the next TPM and the activities of the first school year were planned, the way of communication, the creation of etwinning and the selection of the logo.
The second one in Covilha Portugal 05,06.07/ 06/2019 with the participation of 12 teachers (two from each school). We did the review and the evaluation of the first year of the project and the planning of the next four LTTAs (C3, C4, C5, C6) and also the last TPM in September 2020.
B. Four of the six LTTAs were carried out with the participation of teachers and students as follows:
C1: Covilha-Portugal (25/02/2019-28/02/2019) with the transfer of 23 teachers and students.
C2: Garcin-Croatia (25/03/2019-28/03/2019) with the transfer of 23 teachers and students.
C3: Sofia-Bulgaria (14/10/2019-17/10/2019) with the transfer of 24 teachers and students.
C4: Timisoara-Romania (18/11/2019-21/11/2019) with the transfer of 25 teachers and students.
The next two planned mobilizations (LTTA) did not take place because of the pandemic covid19, as governments banned the movement of teachers and students outside the countries and also the schools remained closed:

C5: Pego-Spain (02/03 / 2020-05 / 03/2020) with the transfer of 23 teachers and students
and C6: Efkarpia- Greece (01/06 / 2020-04 / 06/2020) with the transfer of 26 teachers and students.

In the four movements that took place, the programs were fully observed as mentioned in the application and the planned visits to museums and other places were made with the help of guides. On the first day there was always a welcoming ceremony from the schools with the participation of the parents’ associations, representatives from the Education Offices and the local self-government, while on the last day it took place the certificate awarding ceremony. The host schools prepared workshops with various activities in which teachers, students and in some of them parents also participated. In each LTTA the students of all six schools presented a power point they had prepared. Each time there was a different issue. The ceremonial visits took place in the Town Halls of the municipalities, where a very warm welcoming and we did an exchange of gifts. The children were hosted in families of the school students, except for the children of Spain and Greece whose parents did not allow it and they stayed in the same hotel with the accompanying teachers.
Οn this project great importance was given to the involvement except of the teachers and the students of our schools also the parents, the local factors (associations) and the local government.
Through the media and online newspapers, all the activities of the program were diffused through posts and press releases on social media (project blog, school websites, Facebook and Etwinning). (All the 19 monthly activities have been posted on the etwinning/twinspase/ pages) and on the blog of the project as well .
Finally, it should be noted that a six-month extension was requested from the coordinating school to carry out later the two transfers (LTTA C5, C6) and the last TPM in the hope that the schools will be open and also the transfers will be allowed. The Greek National Agency (I.K.Y.) gave us the approval of the extension until 31/03/2021, but unfortunately due to the pandemic of covid19 we could not do any transfer.
In conclusion, we could say that the project was going very well with partners who wanted to work hard, with fun and excitement. Our cooperation was impeccable and we would dare to say that even once was there the slightest disagreement or any tension. On the contrary, mutual understanding, mutual respect and equality between the partners prevailed. But the pandemic of the covid 19 brought a major upheaval to our plans and programs and did not allow us to complete the project as we would like it to be. Nevertheless, there is a general desire from all of us to continue our cooperation on this project even after its completion. For this reason it will remain open, as well as the etwinning.
