Project Summary

The project basically aims the participating educational communities take responsibility for the care of our planet and to involve families and people in their environment maximizing the impact.

The project is aimed at students of different age groups and undertakes actions or tasks aimed at energy saving, waste management, protection and support of the environment or awareness of the importance of caring for the planet. We try to make the students give importance to the small ecological acts that start from each one and in this way develop a sense of responsibility and raise awareness about their own influence on the natural environment.

The project offers activities to reach all types of students, regardless of their knowledge, skills or attitude, for example: design the logo, make cities model reusable materials, clean the environment, recycle different materials or plant trees and gardens. Our project develops basic reading, writing, oral expression, general understanding and logical thinking skills, inserting the CLIL methodology together with the use of ICT tools. These activities help students broaden their view of the world by sharing experience from other cultures.

The project also promotes the professional development of teachers through the improvement of their English and digital literacy. Teachers pose innovative methodologies (eg cooperative group work, communication, tasks). Finally, the school community is encouraged to establish links and links with people from other countries.
