Project Summary
The main objective of project HOW DID THEY DO IT? is to introduce youth from disadvantaged families to different professional pathways in Estonia and Latvia. We saqf how other people have chosen their occupations and how they succeeded in their professional life. In the included work-shops participants worked on their self-esteem, problem-solving and communication skills as well as learning how to create a good CV and prepare for job interview. We visited various work places in different parts of the country and talked to professionals there: engineers, craftsmen, journalists, musicians, Eco-farmers and government officials. We also talked to carier – advisors in order for young people to know of such possibilities and what kind of assistance they could get. Along the way we visited places of cultural heritage of our country.
