Project Summary
Our project, which aims to improve students’ cultural and artistic skills,has created an opportunity to examine and experience the factors affecting the acquisition of basic skills,national and international policies and systems in successful countries.Therefore,the project has contributed to the development of students who cannot reach basic skills,by sharing each common culture,elements of art,knowledge,skills,talents and experiences,it proved that we are all different but also we are the same.
Our project enabled teachers to share their experience and knowledge in Europe with our schools In our project,which is based on the principle that the development of culture,art knowledge and skills through sharing and gaining experience occurs especially in primary school age.
Language,education,traditions and customs,values and attitudes of each country’s culture are discussed.Another element of culture,art, folklore,music,dance,theater,we have shared in the denominator.Teachers,who work on culture and art with a student-centered approach,have had good and innovative practices in the professional sense and these practices have been shared by all partner countries.In this way,a professional exchange and development enriched with the sharing of knowledge and experience among teachers has been achieved.Our teachers have achieved their own development by realizing the international dimension of classroom practices,good and innovative practices in professional learning and sharing knowledge with colleagues.The professional practices they have learned in the field and in the classroom have opened their horizons and they have had opportunities to educate their students well and provide them with new information. We used the e-Twinning portal to create the existence and partnership structure of our project partners.As coordinator of our projects,we published our ideas and received information on the response from the forum.When we shared the details of our project with the project partners,we developed our project by sharing ideas and information.Project partners from Turkey,Italy and Portugal.Age range in all of our schools are 6-15.Following the acceptance of our project partner withdrew from the partnership, citing the intensity of Macedonia and project work has continued with the third countries, including Turkey.A total of 3 international meetings were held.Turkey first and last meetings,Portugal has hosted the second meeting. Each country participated in 3 transnational meetings.2.TPM was held in Portugal between 27-30-04-2018 and the last final meeting was held in Istanbul between 07-10-2019. 2 LTT events occurred;The first LTT was held between 03-09-2018 with 3 teachers and 8 students from the coordinating country.The 2nd LTT was held in Istanbul between 07-13-2019 with 8 teachers from Italy and Portugal.
The concrete outputs of our project were sharing day activities in each school,sharing box activities were made for the disabled students who could not participate in mobility,a photo contest was organized among the students to recognize and introduce cultures,memory and intelligence games developed for the cultures of the common countries were developed and each country introduced its famous artists,prepared an album, made glass and ceramic workshops and prepared the project website as the most important concrete output.Local and transnational dissemination activities,sharing social media pages and our website reached more than 2000 people stated in the formThe quality of implementation of the project activities was measured with the pre and post tests conducted by the participating teachers and students.
Thanks to our project,our students were able to reflect themselves in real terms

With the development of artistic and cultural skills, students’ social skills and indirectly academic competences were improved
They developed a positive attitude and interest in learning a foreign language
