Project Summary

This project was born following numerous exchanges between the partners. Several common findings were highlighted. For many students and for teachers, recess becomes anxious. These are moments of conflict, stress, fear … All these findings have a detrimental effect on the well-being and mood of children, it may affect the school work of these.

From these findings, a common key priority was targeted: improving “off-class” moments during school time to allow students to return to class available, receptive to learning and in an adequate state of mind.

Tracks will be developed during the two years of the project to improve these moments of relaxation by regulating, developing, varying the offer available to students: the layout of the playground respecting the needs of students, the establishment rich and varied activities, the construction of rules of life and the establishment of green areas.

During the transnational meetings, the different representatives (children and teachers) of the countries will be able to observe the strategies, the means used in each school to improve the living-together at school and thus access to learning. Everyone will be able to see, test, evaluate and evaluate the different types of organization, the activities put in place and judge their viability in each partner school. Students and teachers who have lived through the project will then be able to try to implement relevant discoveries in their own school during moments of relaxation at school in order to improve the situation specific to each school.

Bi-monthly meetings will be organized to promote exchanges between the different partners via the eTwinning tool (forums and virtual meetings).
These exchanges will focus on improving the well-being of pupils, a common and priority objective for all European schools.

This project will promote the communication and openness of young Europeans, their parents, some satellite associations and their teachers who until today do not necessarily have the tool available to get to know each other . The eTwinning tool will be used here as regularly as possible.
The discoveries made will enable partners to get on board, to mobilize and develop the best living together in a positive dynamic.
The richness and cultural diversity of each participating country will allow all actors to open up to different European cultures.

All these exchanges (mobilities, publications and exchanges on eTwinning) set up will allow each participating country to see, to experience what is happening on a European scale (hence the choice of our partners) and not only local or regional. The solutions imagined, tested and approved in other European countries, whether through activities specific to each country, different organizations will bring a plus to the development of each school.

After the end of EU funding, we hope that the current partners, but also the partners met in other projects, will be able to continue to fulfill their functions. This community is real since 2011 and remains active between teachers but also between some children.
The project website will be open and accessible to anyone interested in our project. We will be attentive to its referencing to increase its visibility.
The European project area in the school will continue to attract students’ attention.
The private Facebook group will remain active and will be updated regularly with the new activities. This mode of communication is appreciated in some countries but certainly should not be the only communication channel.
In fact, all our productions will remain accessible where we have deposited them and we will “limit” to the three channels already mentioned (eTwinning, Facebook and website).
Occasionally, we will organize activities that will continue to punctuate the life of the school even if it is not directly in line with the project: sending a Christmas card, sustainability of the sports tournament, sending seeds or cuttings for nature areas .
