Project Summary

In nowadays economic realities, actions for the growing up employment have special meaning and support of the business sphere in higher education. Graduates often don’t have enough motivation and support in their first steps on a field of economic activity. Preparation of young entrepreneurs to the effective functioning of the labor market requires the development of comprehensive and effective tools.
Main aim of the „Business Incubator” project was to provide a comprehensive support for vocational school graduates planning to start their own business through development of a Business Incubator adapted to their specific needs.
Under the project activities implemented in the international partnership, it was planned to prepare a model of Business Incubator, as well as develop tools, which will be used within such Incubator, together with complex program and methodology of training for those, who would work in such a Business Incubator
Developed model of Business Incubator is ready to be implemented by many different organization, which would wish to conduct activities supporting establishing of own business by young people from vocational schools.
Development of a model of the Business Incubator was preceded by the study about needs of vocational school students and graduates in the area of support needed in the process of establishing own company (study conducted on a group of 100 students in each partner country). Model of the Business Incubator was prepared in form of publication (in the language of each partner country), this ensure it durability and easiness in prevalence of this model.
Additional support, in the process of launching of incubator was training organized for the teachers/trainers from the each member state. Training was about methods and tools of effective support for young people who want to start their own business. Exchange of experiences in this between teachers/trainers from partners’ countries provided innovation and effectiveness in the project activities.
In order to effectively distribute prepared model, in each partner country one dissemination conference was held.
Model of the Business Incubator is effective and complex tool, which can be used by higher schools, labour market institutions and another subjects which support vocational school graduates in the process of beginning of their business activity.
Taking the subject of supporting entrepreneurship of young people – graduates of vocational schools have also increased awareness in this field among local authorities, as well as among actors supporting young people in the labor market at national and European level .
In implementation of the project, there was involved organizations from Poland, Estonia and Malta. These organizations work with young people every day and are involved in creation tools for better preparation young people to effective functioning at the labour market.
Prepared results:
• Report from the survey of needs of the higher schools students, which include results of the survey conducted in Poland, Maltha and Estonia.
• Publication which include model of the Business Incubator (500 copies in Polish, English and Estonian, together 1500 copeis)
