Project Summary

1.The idea of the project that promotes amongst the teachers the use of ICT in adult education is the result of the analysis of needs and the internal evaluation of our and our partner organisations that we conducted during a meeting in Bremen together with other educators of adult education sector from different countries in Europe. Raising competence in this area (ICT) was the need expressed by most of the participants of this meeting. This is the exchange of experiences, best practices, workshops that increase the skills of using the ICT in adult education environment between the partner organisations in this project. We also aim to produce a publication treating about the possible and successful uses of ICT in adult education. This publication will continuously be developed even after the project is finished. 3. There are four institutions from four different EU countries participating in this project. Two countries have experience in particpating in partnerships and two do not. There will be 10 to 14 participants from each country, males and females. These are the teachers of different ages and they have different levels of professional experience. Their level of knowledge regarding ICT is also very different. All of them, however, are currently working in adult education. 4. The project consists of four meetings for participants that will take place in four different countries as well as one additional meeting only for coordinators (Sept 2016). During the coordinators’ meeting all details will be discussed, aims and goals reviewed, responsibilities shared, organisational and administrative tasks distributed as well as ways of communication confirmed and agreed on.During each mobility methods that we will use will include: workshops, meetings, sharing and exchanging experiences and best practices. Each organisation prior to the meeting will prepare and consult a plan of the visit. We will also create a fanpage on facebook and open account on Dropbox which will facilitate communication between participants, coordinators as well as everyone else who wishes to follow our project. Apart from gaining knowledge and new skills during mobilities our teachers will also learn and practice in their countries. During and after the project we will be disseminating project results. 5. We will obtain very valuable results during and at the end of the project. The most important of them are: – the increase of didactic competences of teachers which will benefit their students- the increase of ICT competence- better quality of teaching- greater potential and professionalism allowing on work withing European context- the improvement of educational processes internationally. One of the most important and longlasting results/effects is the development of the willingness of growth and self-improvement amongst the participants of the project
