Project Summary

This project aims to widen the horizon regarding ICT tools for reading and writing. Through job shadowing and exchange of good practice between preschools in Sweden and Turkey we intend to learn from each other, and share as well as widen our knowledge. During this project we will also work with key competences from the EU such as foreign language skills, digitalization and the abilities to reflect on one’s own learning. The project will be transacted in english witch is´t a native tongue for the preschool teachers. This together with pedagogical and digital skills will give our preschool teachers an oportunitye to develop their skills in communication and learning.

As an extra part of the project we will learn to know LetterMoose, a prize awarded robot that can both read and wright. We will test if LetterMoose can be a positive edition to reading and writing tools in preschool. But LetterMoose is still in development so we have to explore how to work side by side with a robot. What will the children think? And how can we use LetterMoose to engage and create curiosity for reading and writing? These and many more questions regarding how to work with ICT reading and writing tools will be melted down in a digital publication that will put a light to and share some of our best thoughts and reflections.
