Project Summary

Burnout is a natural reaction against job stress and is characterized by physical, emotional exhaustion. Burnout syndrome that has been listed in International Classification of Disease, is going to be defined as a medical disorder in 2020. On the other hand, teachers’ burnout will unfortunately result in many unexpected consequences varying from effects on teachers to the future of the generations. Additionally, chronic burnout can poorly affect scheduling, professional development, curriculum planning, collegiality and other factors. We enable teachers to break the barrier between burnout and their students. Therefore, teachers will start to act for a better future for their students, school and community.
Objectives
Our project’s main aim is to observe teachers’ burnout levels in different cultures using by “Maslach Burnout Inventory Questionnaire”. Then each country investigates the others’ burnout levels, think about solutions and try to reduce these levels by academics, cultural, social and interpersonal activities. Our project will provide the necessary framework for teacher in different countries to collaborate, share good practices and how to manage their burnouts. All the participants will improve their knowledge of foreign cultures and communication skills in English. All the participants will develop intercultural understanding, appropriate respect, tolerance and organisational teamwork skills.
