Project Summary

This partnership project includes vocational institutions in Normandy and in Andalucia. Full time students or apprentices and vocational trainees are studying in those institutions. We can add that 2 “dormant” partners, a Finnish one and a German one would like to collaborate and follow the activities giving some help too. But beause of the situation, the Covid-19 crisis, they didn’t want to be totally engaged n the process. All these institutions have worked together in mobility projects for many years. They have developped commercial, marketing, sales, econoomics and management cursus which explains the topic of our project : the creation of a mini company. The core of the project “Learning by entrepreuneurship”, a process widely developped in our Region through Epa-Normandie is dedicated to vocational schools so that students are enhanced to discover the world of companies concretly. Our aim is to allow young people from the same cursus to share work methods and to widen their competences to reach the level needed by the diploma but also to acquire some soft skills which could be an added value on their CV to enter the world market. Our wish is also to creat a mini company on an international level.
The participants are teachers concerned by the fields of the project and studetns from this cursus.
They all study at a vocational medium level. Altogether 20 adults and 40 students will be involved.
They all will have a specific task in the company and will collaborate according to the activities. The participants to the meeting will be chosen according to their task and needs.
Moreover the other people help in the organisation of the project. Their participation is a sign of the development of the European activities of the institutions.
The different activities aim to increase ths valorisation of the company activities. Participants will work in workshops and they also will use communication tools (like internet or video conferences) like in a real company. The meetings will formalise the missions, participants will have the opportunity to meet and decide the future directives. The exhanges through e-twinngin platform are very important, they will help to develop the collaboration between the participants. The collaboration work with companies which support the project is very important. Two key moments will be at the center of activities: the Rouen Fair which will allow the project to be presented and defend the mini-enterprise locally and regionally and the participation in the mini-enterprise competition which will also enhance the project.
Concerning the global organisation, guidelines will be edited. Pilot group composed of 2 representatives of each institutions will also be in charge of management of the project and will check the activities and the results.
The expecting results concern on the one hand the learning outcomes for the students. Those outcomes are validated through diploma. On the other hand soft skills will be considered by questionaires. The results of the company economically speaking will show the succes of the project.
The major impact is the integration of those students who were not involved in European activities before. We hope to create a new mini company, an international company, because mini companies are short living, they last during the project period. In the long term, we will follow the students to know how they have integrate this experience. Our objectives are defined in the priorities chosen, namely the development of entrepreneurship, the use of digital tools and above all the possibility of putting into practice basic skills without forgetting the linguistic contribution.
Another point is that the organisations are involved in regional, national and European networks which will give the opportunity to widen the activities and include other partners.
