Project Summary

Creative drama which was the main topic of our project, is the most significant model of learning and is a basic activity for learning and one of the innovative teaching methods in the world.

The aim of our project was dissemination of using creative drama in education and share best paractices to increase the number of activities of creative drama.Therefore we applied ‘’Creative Drama’’ method as a necessary approach in education.

The Project consortium was consisted of 4 schools from Turkey, Portugal, Bulgaria and Romania .

We organized 18 events, including local international mobility.14 of them were local (P)activities.4 of them were C activities in different countries.
At least 5 students and 2 teachers participated in every activity from each country. We increased the number of participants with the common decision in some mobilities.

At least totally 20 students and 8 teachers joined each activities in different countries.We held 3 of these meetings physically. We held 1 of them as virtual meeting due to the covid 19 pandemic.

Our project goals which we achieved were as follows:

Using creative drama as an innovative method in education had the following effects on the participants:
Developed their social sensitivity,their verbal skills.
Helped to recognize student’s own emotions.
Provided communication, interaction, and cooperation between the learners.
Developed student’s imagination
Provided children with an opportunity to work together cooperatively on a shared life.
Changed to express themselves more effectively in everyday situations.
Thanks to creative drama method, they learned he curriculum more permanently
Teachers learned to encourage children to participate in creative drama activities.
They got certificates how to use creative drama techniques for permanent learning

The project envisaged those impacts among the target group at local,regional and EU level:

Strong partnerships established at all governance levels
Provided an environment for the creation of new project ideas
Provided communication, interaction, and cooperation between the participants.
Contributed to the improvement of the language skills of the participants.

Each country reached totally about 1000 teachers in their own regions.It is important to improve using creative drama methods as a lesson in schools.The project reached more than target group at local,regional and EU level with the dissemination activities such as Erasmusdays,eTwinning project,seminars,social media accounts,local and national news.

As a result of the project, the expected effect of using creative drama activities in education to gain a better perspective and understanding of the importance of the participants was realized as we had aimed at the beginning of the project. At the end of this project we had strong connections with our EU partnerships and have important experiences for our projects in the future.we included creative drama activities as a lesson in all classes.
Accordingly, student-centered learning environments were provided.
