Project Summary
Project name: “Let’s get to know each other better.”
Our nations have lived together in one country of Czechs and Slovaks for seventy years. For seventy years we have built one great educational system where we have been educated. We have been mentally and communicatively so close as any other country in the world. After the separation in 1993 we started building two separate school systems, which were brought close again after joining the European nation. After the period of separating we are in the period of converging the countries.
With this project we wanted to show the young generation, which is educated in our partner schools, ways of getting together and work on common projects in the future. This not only helped the Czechs and the Slovaks but the other nations as well. With this project we wanted to broaden the knowledge of our mother tongue languages, exchanging our competences, and building new partnerships in sporting events.
The main objective of this mobility project was to help the teachers to gain abilities to make their teaching more effective,we gave them space to be more creative, boosted their self esteem, they gained information about various educational systems and are able to use all these new information in their everyday activities with students.
