LET’S MEET IN THE CULTURAL AND SPIRITUAL PLACES
Our project “Let’s Meet in Cultural anad Spiritual Places” represents a Strategic Partnership for Schools Only from Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ Program, planned to last 24 months.
Countries and their cities in our project are TURKEY(Trabzon/Arsin), GREECE( Athens /Koropi), ITALY (Siena-Colle di Val d’Elsa) SPAIN (Cordoba) ITALY(Naples-Airola). Our project contains four ”Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils”activities and two ”Transnational project meetings” in total.
The main topic of our project is to reveal that differences are cultural richness. Cultural activities include visitation of the historic synagogue mosque churches, linguistic and artistic architecture and several elements reflecting cultural richness. We present a social project for development concepts of the democracy, leniency and multiculturalism instead of the some concepts such as islamophobia, antisemitism and ethnic nationalism. Communication with universities and civil society organizations, local and national media promotions will have a different meaning at EU level. Our project consists of 14-18 year old students. Each ”Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils”mobility includes two times a quota of 4 pupils, 1teacher (Trabzon and Airola) and two times a quota of 6 pupils 2 teachers (Cordoba and Greece) in total with equally distributed to the schools. Each ”Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils”mobility includes 6 days in total. Transnational project meetings held yearly, will be done in Turkey/Trabzon and Italy/Siena in the begnning of the project. A total number of 2 teachers from each school will attend this mobility. Our project contains 94 mobility in total. That existing religious and cultural conflicts also students having social and psychological problems will be preferred in these movements. Common organizations will try to include and provide interest with the project to the immigrants, rural migrants and the students who have some financial problems and special requirement. All tasks related to our project were distributed. Each organization is responsible for following, evaluating and also applying to the particular action plan. The contact person of the project in each school is responsible for his own school. Turkey Arsin Anatolian Imam Hatip High School is general responsible coordinator. Schools will be in constant communication and performance with video conferences, eTwinning, facebook, project web page, e-mail and whatsapp.
In the project mobility, it is one of the substantial concrete outputs of our project to publish the school culture newspaper, to make a webpage of the project, to make photo exhibitions, to conduct polls, to make video conferences, to prepare project DVDs and booklet, to design and make the mock-ups , to produce an advertising film and organize seminars and cultural excursions. Polls, brochures, circulars and posters to be applied will increase the effectiveness of our project. Our project has also the potential to affect regional, territorial and Europe-wide for the project schools. Our project will have important results in the field of social psychology. All these results will have an important contribution for the development of European dimension and on the democracy, leniency and multiculturalism and students, teachers, local community, universities at the national and international scale of our project
