Project Summary

A relevant priority of this project is consolidating the status of the teaching professions, supporting getting the ability and competence and acquiring appropriate skills and competence on the highest level, an acquaintance of the newest techniques and methods of both the learning and the teaching, the culture and the history of the own country and partner countries and better taking control of significant basic and cross-sectional competence on the highest level in the perspective of the whole life learning. The project is being addressed to students aged 10 -14 years and their teachers. Pupils who achieved the highest level of evaluations in the process of knowledge acquisition and with the very good behaviour in two latest terms will participate in this project and teachers who declare willing in this project. Total number of the participants in the project is : 45 pupils and 45 teachers. Participants in the project will take part in classes and lectures concerning learning techniques, and teachers will be able to use methods and techniques for years. The main aim of this projekct is acquaintanceship the groups of the project (students and teachers) with the newest techniques and methods of both learning and teaching, culture and history of the own country and partner countries using these activating methods, high techniques and educational methods, and IT. The specific aims are: the pupil is able to apply mind maps, axes of the sequence of the time, pictograms, memory bookmarks; visualization; remembers through applying the method of the Roman room, memory hooks, experiments and experience, drama; the storytelling technique; method of substitute words, rynonymes, mnemotechniques, acronyms, acrostics, Birkenbihl method, associational combinatorics; the pupils have knowledge of culture and history of European countries; the teachers know and applies the newest techniques and methods of both the learning and the teaching processes, the teachers use modern techniques and tools, the teachers are able to work in the international environment using eTwinning platform, social media and etc.; pupils and teachers are able to use foreign languages in practice. Innovation of the project “Let’s share culture and history using modern techniques and methods of learning teaching” is connected with using activating methods, high techniques and educational methods and IT in education process connected with improving their abillities with history and culture of partner countries what is compatible with curriculum. Teaching with problem method and applying the participatory approach serves the greater commitment and greater motivation of pupils. Participants have a possibility of the permanent verification of their competencies. Systematically they are working interdisciplinary, since at drawing the acquired knowledge up is using computer and IT. These activities are complementary with curriculum. An exchange of experiences will be used for implementing innovative solutions between teachers of partner institutions with eTwinning platform. The project is innovative because there are innovative educational methods, cross-cultural education and intergenerational and learning through whole life and TIK techniques. Predicted results of this project actions are: the album of project activities, articles and noticeboards of project actions and techniques and methods of learning and teaching, art projects connected with history and culture of partner countries, the acquisition of modern methods and learning techniques by participants, the acquisition of knowledge in history and cultures of partner countries and establishing direct relations and international friendships. Methodology used in the project is an active involvement, the acqusition of best practices, self-presentation, creative action, self-reflection, observation of model classes, modern techniques supporting the teaching process and methodology of the research work. Predicted results and influences of the project and long-term potential advantages are: further cooperation of pupils and teachers on eTwinning platform; using he newest techniques and methods of both the learning and the teaching permanently during the educational process; using results and products of the project like teaching materials and teaching aids during further lessons; articles about the project in school magazines; the album of project activities and the articles of project actions and techniques and methods of learning and teaching will be given into school libraries; archive of the project put on websites of partner schools.
