It’s been a while since we told you about the project’s development! During the last months, the consortium of ONAT4all has been doing a tough job developing the Self-Assessment Tool and the draft version of the Guidebook.

We launched our SAT!

Last time we told you that we were developing this great tool. We finally managed to launch it a couple of months ago. Many companies and businesses have been able to check an estimation of the level of accessibility of their products.

By answering a brief survey, outdoor tourism businesses are getting an overall score, feedback and suggestions on how to improve accessibility in each area. This tool is the first step in their path to universal accessibility.

We developed the guidebook…

… and we’re testing it! How? Recently we’ve been celebrating a few living labs or focus groups, in which both people with disabilities and tourism and accessibility experts participated. We worked together on the draft of the Guidebook so we can improve it before presenting its final version.

This guidebook is a document aimed to improve the personal autonomy of PWDs in nature and adventure tourism and outdoor activities. It’s addressed to public and private organizations in the tourism value chain that are willing to enhance the accessibility of their businesses and the products they offer. As we said, the SAT it’s only the first step in the path to Universal Accessibility!

Stany tuned to our social media because the guide will be launched soon!
