Project Summary
The project requested focused on the exchange of knowledge, experience and best-practice examples on labour market development in the nursing sector and their impact on the training content. The exchange took place as a comparison of the current training content in the curricula for the professions geriatric nurse as well as health and nursing (Germany), nursing assistant and nursing assistant (Austria) and nurse / “Pilengniarka” (Poland). The labour market development towards nursing 4.0 was examined with regard to digitalization and the use of new technologies in the nursing processes and conclusions were drawn in relation to the resulting requirements for the training content and methods of teaching and learning. Selected processes such as the use of robots were discussed intensively based on the general conditions, the status of the introduction and emotional aspects in the triangle of nurses – patient – robot. Another point was the presentation and the exchange of experience on a new division of labour among medical staff and the associated new teaching and learning content, to which the new academic education also contributed. Presentations regarding the aforementioned topics were developed, held at the meetings and discussed with a reflection on one’s own options for action. From the comparisons of curricula drawn in the exchange of experience, requirements of the current job market and perspective (care 4.0) and newly imparted knowledge and generated awareness of necessities, ideas were developed that resulted in a new project to be planned together.
