Project Summary

The idea of continuing the mutual work was conceived by educators in 3 countries of the present project during past Erasmus+ projects. Our project idea comes from two sources: on one hand, 2018 is the year of World Heritages; on the other hand, several goals of our internationalization strategies could be achieved by this topic. We could make our students realize the importance of keeping traditions and transmitting cultural heritages. Students will become open to get to know the culture of other countries through the values of their own countries. Foreign language and digital competencies will develop. Teachers will form an active partnership with the partner institutes, and their foreign language and methodology repertoire will be broadened.
The participating institutes are secondary schools from six countries. These schools will bring their strengths coming from their size, profile, location or experiences in digital technology into the project, thus guarantee the opportunity of learning from each other.

We are planning three different types of activities to reach the project goals.
The short term teacher mobilities will contribute to the successful and fluent transaction and to the sustainability of the project, and also to value the results in an objective manner.
The short term student mobilities will give opportunity to discover the world heritage sites of the partner countries; to acquire the use of digital methods and devices; and last but not least to cooperate and practice languages in an international team.
The long term student mobilities will be a fantastic opportunity to develop both students’ personality and language competency with being part of the everyday school and family life in another country.
The students, working in teams, will learn to use mobile applications, online tools, and digital technology from each other through the tasks.
From the project we expect that by learning about world heritages, students in all participating schools will be committed to the preservation of their natural and built surroundings; they will strive to get to know other cultures and people without preconceptions; they will evolve and develop their national identity and pride.
We hope that owing to the active use of English language the number of successful language exams will increase and the results of the final (Matura) language exams will improve.

The smooth effectuation of the project will contribute to the increase in number and quality improvement of the partnership associations.
We will have more motivated teachers with a modern methodology repertoire, who can build their new methods into their everyday teaching practice with the help of their disseminating activities and with renewing the syllabuses.
We will have long-term benefits, too: the prepared digital school-work and exercises will be adopted to the school subjects, due to the teachers involved coming from various teacher groups (natural history, humanities, languages, vocational); these syllabus parts will improve the quality of teaching in the long run; owing to the successful project, the fame of the schools will improve and schools will become attractive for the pupils who are about to choose an institute for their further studies.
With using the online forums (the homepage of the project, eTwinning) the results will be open for everyone.
