Initially, partners decided to work on the play ” Songes d’une Nuit d’ été (A Midsummer Night’s Dream)” by W. Shakespeare. As in each schoolt 20 pupils participated to the project, to allow everyone to have a character they switched and settled ” Cyrano de Bergerac “. For this pupils followed a formation around the Commedia Dell’Arte ‘s character, they all got repetition in their respective country. From this group of pupils, 10 from each country integrated the international company and performed for the international tour.
As we settled the project, professional company Teatro Picaro animated workshops for the teachers who were in charge to support this project during two years. Picaro goes twice in each partners country to organise specific workshops who were necessary for the show. Between the two sessions organised by the company, pupils continued their formation with their teachers in charge and formed for this, and with the remediation from Teatro Picaro who had access to working session of pupils uploaded on our YouTube Channel.
Scheduled activities :
4 transnational meetings allowing to :
– define the selection criteria for the pupils’ appliance. Establish a procedure for the integration of pupils with specific needs.

Training, teaching and transnational learning activities :
– Setting up of a training session by the Teatro Picaro on drama and communication skills : « the body and the speech » for the teachers
– Two training sessions of eight days with the pupils and the teachers in each country : training about the commedia Dell’Arte had for goal to prepare pupils to be able to get on stage and perform with a professional quality.
