Project Summary

All the partners have taken the objectives of the 2020 ET framework into consideration. Two of the most important points stressed in that framework are :Improving the efficiency and quality of training and education and developing equity, social coherence and dynamic citizenship. In a world that is becoming progressively divided in some regards, it’s really sigificant for us to come together to get over discrimination in all its forms. In contrast to popular belief, bullying is not an obsolete phenomenon but in fact, it is a very current issue that lots of students are experiencing right now. Bullying affects more pupils than is generally believed, it can take place anywhere, in any situation and absolutely no one is immune to this fact. If bullying isn’t dealt with immediately the victims of such incidents may turn to behaviors such as :drawing themselves into seclusion, bullying others, avoiding social communications, showing poor academic performance, in extreme cases committing suicide. These impacts on the students motivated us to create the idea of such a project.

This project mainly aims to:
*provide a chance to develop an intercultural understanding of bullying for the staff and the pupils thus tackling earlyschool leaving and promoting equity.
* establish a more positive and moral communication quality in a European democratic identity and society.
*create an inclusive environment and give direction and guidance to school authorities and school personnel in preventing and tackling school-based bullying
behaviour among its pupils and in dealing with any negative impact within school of bullying behaviour that occurs elsewhere.
*create a common website through which all the members of the partnership can communicate and share their experiences, this way we will also improve the self confidence , social networking safety skills of the pupils and help them tackle certain bullying problems.
*set up an atmosphere where everyone can share their bullying prevention techniques through short films and role plays
*reflect and set down the best ways to tackle bullying in local&national and international levels.
*ensure that tackling bullying is a central consideration in all areas of the school environment and daily life.
*provide students with appropriate social skills, emotional management skills, and the ability to understand others’ emotions, to appreciate and forgive others
*explicitly teach pupils about the appropriate use of social media so that they won’t come across online bullying
*provide an opportunity to learn and use English as a language
Each of the partners will use an approach which ensures that all the activities and results are shared in collaboration. It is expected that the project will host around 120 students and staff during five mobilities in Hungary ,Portugal, Spain ,Turkey and Italy in two years of project period

The outputs of the project are:
*5 short term exchange of students ( Hungary,Portugal, Spain, Turkey and Italy) during which the students will master on the use of neccessary techniques to tackle bullying by developing collaborative , communication , problem solving ,networking safety skills and critical thinking skills
*Publishing a handbook purporting the ways of tackling bully at school.
*Ceation of a portfolio which includes all the materials used and created during LTTA’s
*Collaboration of partners on e-twinning and other social networks like whatssup and facebook
*Newsletters, local news outlets , leaflets and flyers
*At least five short films and songs will be produced and published
*Euro-pass documents for each student who participates in the mobilities
It’s anticipated that the impact of the project will be sensed at various levels including students , other participants. We imagine that the project will help them develop many new skills to tackle bullying and prevent it, thanks to which a new horizon for many changes into the wider community will be laid out.
It is foreseen that the project will;
*Reduce possible violence arising from bullying among students
*Provide a direct access to international approaches to prevent bullying at a European extent
*Provide the students with a better cultural and language understanding.
*Increase experience and understanding about such issues like online bullying, verbal bullying, social bullying and physical bullying besides providing the students and staff with a skill to understand and apply new social networking safety skills.
*help the participants acquire a different perspective in bullying prevention and detection terms
*Provide a direct access to international approaches to prevent bullying in a European extent
*Maintain a broader understanding of the side effects of bullying and the ways which can be employed to tackle and get rid of it.
The project has numerous advantages and they are permanent in the long run. Thanks to this project we shall be able to tackle bullying and create a bully free environment for our students
