Considering the fact that, every extra year of children’s education increases their financial gain of adulthood nearly 10% and decreases their country’s poverty rate nearly 9% (UNICEF, 2016). Active participation enables students’ attendence, academic development, also personality development and self actualization and all of these reminds us the concept of school engagement. In this context, our project’s main purposes are,

The desired effects on the basis of the students will be provided by activities that will be carried out both internationally and within the school. In this context, entrepreneurship, social skills, cultural awareness and representation and foreign language skills will be developed from key competencies of the students who will take part in the project activities for international student exchanges in both guest and host positions. In addition, it is planned to achieve the goal of social inclusion from EU Horizontal priorities by ensuring maximum participation of disadvantaged students in both intra-school project activities and international mobility. This target will be achieved through the observation of practices involving disadvantaged students during mobilities and integration into the educational processes of our school, too. Within the project, it is planned to develop digital skills from key competencies via mobile game design, e-book design, logo design, 3D robotic coding course, “Smart Home Project” activities and to develop students’ ability to work in teams during these activities. With the “I am Learning Science with My Parents” program to be held in our school, it is planned to reduce the failure rates under 15% in the 15-year-old age group in reading, mathematics and science which is in the European Basic Criteria.
