Project Summary

The “One Love One Drum: Drumming for Inclusion” project is a cutting-edge project, aligned with the priorities of Key Action 2 of the Erasmus + Youth in Action Program and its main objective is to produce a pedagogical tool that assumes itself as a powerful educational tool in the scope of non-formal education, for the social inclusion of groups of young people marginalized and / or excluded from society.

The two main objectives of the project are:

O1: Reinforce and enable the Batalá Mundo network, through the training of its leaders and the digital transformation of its contents, operational structure and online management / collaboration, given the COVID-19 scenario;

O2: Creation of educational tools in digital format for youth workers, cultural agents and organizations to include in their local action the use of percussion as a method for inclusion

This objective will materialize with the digital platform that will be created and that will include:

i) Percussion course for inclusion – extensive and detailed course so that any individual, without any musical knowledge, can create an inclusion project through percussion

ii) Repository of good practices of inclusion at European and World level – repository that will be constantly supplied by the entire Batalá Mundo network and that has more ideas and projects / good practices that illustrate the power of the arts for inclusion
