Project Summary

This project is a European-wide extension of the innovative project “Open problems for student success and professional development of teachers” proposed to the NYIs (National Innovation Days) on April 4, 2018, in Paris. , and who won the first prize in the category “A school of trust”.
The purpose of this project is to develop in students the skills needed to solve mathematical problems.
It also allows to change the traditional workings of teachers in their class, it involves a change in posture of the teacher who must let the students seek, discuss among themselves, accept the mistakes made by their students. It highlights a problem-solving approach advocated by national partner country programs, but is difficult to apply because teachers are not used to LEARNING HIGH SCHOOLS. Teachers will therefore develop their professional skills, and students with metacognitive skills, their imagination, their creativity, their critical thinking, arguing, justifying, making decisions.
They will also discover different aspects of European Union countries through videos shot by students but also moving to these countries.
