Critical thinking is an essential skill for our contemporary school and society. Through critical thinking we support our effort to find solutions for equity and cohesion in our students life, at school, at home, in the society. We want to offer our students the chance of high quality education, and to offer them the large image of European education, of European dialogue, student to student, student to teacher, student to authorities representatives. Our activities are designed to satisfy the needs, the skills, the abilities of all students, including those from disadvantaged groups. We want to promote inclusion, European values, cultural diversity, migration challenges, democratic values, civic involvement and to face and recognize media manipulation. They can debate these topics in direct meetings and on Etwinning activities, or on Active citizenship platform of the project.

Our target group are students in our schools of 15-19 years old, of all specializations, we give chance of participation to all students, but, as we promote social inclusion, we want to help students facing obstacles. We intend to challenge in this project all students, mainstream or from disadvantaged groups. Also, they will be guided and helped by 35 teachers. They will coordinate and offer guidance, monitor, encourage their work. Teachers will create a friendly space where they can express their thoughts and feelings in order to get critical thinking abilities.

Preparatory activities suppose different stages: documentation. Everything starts with an idea, who gets the information, gets the success. Our students will inform themselves on internet, their information will be evaluated by teachers that guide them to understand media manipulation, the relevance of some information, how to access good, relevant information, on institution sites, on impartial newspapers, etc. they will be prepared to be active on a network of active citizens. During the exchanges, they will work in multicultural teams, present their products, watch interviews with authorities, analyse their discourse, compare data, debate, develop their critical thinking skills, communicate in English, exchange cultural and national values.

Results and impact
We see the student as the engine of our schools, and our schools are the places where we educate students in real time with social changing. International collaboration during exchanges will encourage students to have a multidimensional perspective on life issues and to take decision in the spirit of self-confidence, self awareness. Their intercultural knowledge will be developed through analyzing four of the main themes of our society. They will actively collaborate, develop technological skills, English language skills, strengthen their authonomy and tolerance.

Tangible results include powerpoints presentation, presentation films, recordings of debates, research work, school exhibition, brochures, posters, calendars, photos, critical thinking skills – collection of activities for teachers, the platform of Active citizenship for students.

Our project impact is expected to involve students, teachers, parents, educational, professional institutions, local communities. As the cultural awareness is a result of education, of working together, of changing ideas, practices we intend to use online platforms , dissemination materials (printed, online) to cover in real time and to get the essence of our international experience.
