Project Summary

CONTEXT/NEEDS
– lack of dissemination strategies and lack of digital competences of youth workers
– lack of information of newcomers organizations and youth workers about Erasmus+ YA programme and project life cycle
– lack of knowledge of NGO and youth workers about new NFE methodologies to use in youth work and to improve dissemination strategies
TARGET GROUP – 325 youth workers, youth organizations and young people
METHODOLOGY – non formal innovative education methods like podcasts
OBJECTIVES:
1. Provide youth workers with know-how for podcast planning and developing initiatives with youngsters and improving their dissemination and communication competencies.
2. Increase the understanding of youth exchanges project life cycle such as: needs analysis, objectives and activities, cooperation with partners, intercultural learning, learning assessment, results, impact, project evaluation and dissemination.
3. Provide introduction to the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme, focusing on main features and priorities;
4. Critically reflect upon their previous international experience(s) – good and bad practices- as participants, coordinators or as partners;
5. Support participants in putting in practice the learnings gained, sharing information and improve NGOs communication and dissemination processes (through planning project ideas in partnership during one project session);
6. Experience a non-formal learning process and understand how to support young people’s learning process in the project;
7. Facilitate the creation of partnership for further projects among the organizations (through the positive exchange among experienced and newcomers organizations)
8. Strengthen participants and organizations competences and capability in youth work and international dimension and cooperation.
9. Enhancing Non Formal Education methods and recognition of NFE learnings (Podcast Production).
ACTIVITIES:
– IO1 – Toolkit how to produce podcasts and how to use them in youth work
– IO2 – Training course framework for youth workers on dissemination strategies and podcasts
– IO3 – Production of 10 podcasts about Erasmus+ youth sector and project design (objectives, priorities and KA105; needs analysis in YW; project objectives and activities; cooperation with partners; intercultural learning; learning assessment; results; project evaluation; impact; dissemination)
– IO4 – Best practices on project dissemination manual
– 4 transnational project meetings

RESULTS
ON PARTICIPANTS – YOUTH WORKERS AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN GENERAL:
– Increasing knowledge about Erasmus+ programme, youth sector and project lifecycle;
– Developing skills related to digital communication, especially dissemination practices among Erasmus+ youth projects and creation of podcasts;
– Improving skills related to youth work;
– Improving knowledge about non formal education methodologies in youth work;
– Enhance the role of youth workers and the international dimension of youth activities through the promotion of cooperation activities between international organisations
ON ORGANIZATIONS BELONGING TO THE PROJECT:
– Developing new managerial skills through the implementation of cooperation mechanisms, communication channels, monitoring systems, budget and time control among partner organisations;
– Improving the quality of organization’s activities and projects through the promotion of a long-lasting partnership;
– Developing organizations’ dissemination strategies;
– Increase the capacities, attractiveness, and international dimension of organisations.
ON TARGET GROUP – ORGANIZATIONS OUTSIDE THE PARTNERSHIP:
– Increased knowledge about new ways of funding activities through Erasmus+ programme;
– Increase knowledge on how to promote online their organizations;
– Increase knowledge about young people awareness about national and international youth activities.
IMPACT:
– Youth workers and organizations (different fields) start creating dissemination strategies and using podcasts as tool for dissemination;
– Youth organizations to diversify their funding opportunities;
– Local youth organizations start working in a project logic;
– Young people using podcasts in their presentations works.
– Adaptation of the TC framework to be used in different educational fields as training courses.
– Improve Erasmus+ National Agencies dissemination strategies with the adoption of a new tool – podcasts.
