Project Summary

The project “Prejudices limit us. Let’s limit prejudices!” is a partnership which brings together 5 establishments and 4 different countries: France (Reunion Island), the project leader, two German establishments, a Spanish establishment and a Norwegian establishment.
This project will take place over 2 years. It will be based on a transnational meeting to be held on Reunion Island in order to prepare all student mobility and the continuous collaboration between the teaching teams involved. This collaboration will be done via eTwinning (leTwinSpace), google drive and WhatsApp.

The starting point of this project is the observation that the students must be better equipped in order to face the everyday realities of our multicultural society. At a time when withdrawal and identity discourse are developing, at a time when situations of living together are being undermined and multiplying, it is important to introduce our students to an approach that leads them to develop their autonomy to think as well as their critical spirit. In this project, students will have to question, identify and deconstruct prejudices.
The project also aims to promote European citizenship and its common values such as tolerance and acceptance of differences. Students and teachers will enrich their journey and develop new skills through mobility. These will extend the opportunities for European cooperation in order to modernize and add added value to the curriculum of each of the participants.

The project will concern pupils registered in Club Europe of each partner as well as on a larger scale, pupils of classes who will participate in the various workshops that the project will generate (debate workshops, artistic workshops, linguistic preparation workshops, “European Gazette” workshops) .

Other objectives will be pursued through this project such as improving the language skills of students and teachers as well as promoting the use of digital and communication tools.
The final production will be a magazine gathering the results of the activities around the thematic of living together and prejudices over the different mobilities entirely designed by the pupils as well as a digital booklet intended for the teachers gathering the instructions and the sequence of all the activities done at the court. of this project.
This project will be based on
– preparatory mobility for the project – a transnational meeting to prepare several bilateral student mobilities with their teachers
– bilateral mobility to each partner country
The main objectives that we would like to achieve are, in the area of student skills:
