Project Summary

Project “Realize with Your Eyes” was educational project about helping and supporting deaf youth entrepreneurship through stock photography.Project Activities were: Mobility Activity – Training Course, 
Capacity building Activity – Participants initiatives, Mobility Activity- Evaluation Meeting.
Training Course (Project Activity 1):In educational part of project, during TC, the participants learned from practice and gained some basic knowledge about photography – how to set the camera, how to make good photos, how to prepare for photo session, how to organize models, props, how to choose motive/theme for photography, how to do postproduction of photography for stock. They also get info and learned how to use stock photography market for selling photos online. Participants also learned to make project proposals, and together created several project drafts and applied with some of them in their national agencies. Participants local initiatives (project Activity 2):Participants initiatives – Project Activity 2 happen in period after TC. This activity taken place in all partner local communities. The participants shared their knowledge and experiences with their collogues in their organizations – regards using photography as a tool for enable deaf youth entrepreneurship. During this activity, the participants together with trainers and experts worked in preparation of video manual (tutorials) for supporting deaf youth entrepreneurship.Evaluation Meeting (Project Activity 3)There were deaf youth participants. We had 1 person per partner country as planned, but from some organization we had even more participants who are deaf, so we had 10 deaf participants. During this activity, participants shared their opinions about the Project activities 1 and 2, and about functionality and significance of the Video Manual (tutorial), as well as their ideas about possible future improvements. Project results were production of Video manuals (tutorials) about using stock photography as methods for entrepreneurship of deaf youth.Tutorials presenting how to use stock photography for deaf youth entrepreneurship, which were translated in 7 languages in Sign languages and has subtitles.Tutorials collected and also other resources are on new website: www.usetutorials.comIdea of this project was to work on strengths of deaf youth.After lifetime of project, video tutorials will stay online and free to use by deaf youth for their entrepreneurship. tutorials were advertised, shared by participants and in social networks. Dissemination will be done also by sharing of our trainers between their colleagues and in professional networks.
