Project Summary
In this age, technology is everywhere,in our daily lives, from our kitchen to office or school. Most of the students play computer games and spend time in social network sites using their smart phone inside house,Starting from this point ,we have a background experience in eTwinning through the project ”traditional games”.Then,we have decided to extent our experiences and collaborate with European partners in our ”let’s play outside ” Erasmus+project. We thought that we must provide more opportunities to our students to go and play outside. This idea was good but we realized that technology has become an essential component in today’s conditions.Pupils will never abandon usage of digital tools, starting from this problem,we would like to organize the time of students spending on digital tools and to guide them to use these tools for education and useful purposes. They need to learn the use and language of digital technologies and to learn digital literacy and safe internet. In this way our students’ motivation ,creativity and success in lessons will increase. The project idea was developed as a result of the needs identified in all partner schools -to encourage more people to discover and engage with Europe’s cultural heritage , while also boosting and exploring their creativity through web tools.
The target group consists of about 4000 students aged 12-15 in all the 6 schools. There will be 40 students who will attend the meetings. The participating teachers are English and ICT teachers, who will work to create project outputs, but also teachers of other subjects will be involved in the project activities. We are six partners around Europe;Turkey,Macedonia,Hungary,Lithuania,Italy and Portugal.Italy,Macedonia and Portugal schools haven’t participated on any strategic partnership project yet.But Macedonia and Italy schools have carried out Ka1 Projects related to digital technologies,so they will support other partners.Hungarian and Lithuanian partners have great experience on European projects for long years.
objectives:
-to recognize cultural heritages of partner countries both tangible and intangible
-to Improve ICT skills (web tools) and competences of students and teachers
-to promote teaching profession’s of teachers by using digital tools in their lessons
-to improve our capacity of being active at European level and sharing knowledge, ideas, applications and methods
-to make students dominate digital tools in education and raising their self confidence about technology in education
-to improve speaking English ability of teachers and students
Activities:
We will organize six LTT activities during project implementation. The first and last meetings will be teacher training activity and the others will be for students exchange. There will be 2 students and 2 teachers per country accompanying the students in each exchange
Locally, all partner schools will have short trips to nearby cultural heritages and organize” traditions and customs week” to promote consciousness, at school, with the participation of parents and grandparents.A traditional street games day will be organized for pupils.A seminar will be given to teachers about web tools. At the end of project,an exhibition of photos and posters will be created with the products of project. To disseminate we will prepare Erasmus+ corners, brochures and banners. We will upload photos, videos, ppts, reports to website, twinspace, facebook page, instagram.

Students will use the knowledge and skills gained in their process of learning and using web tools in long term.
