Project Summary

Our project aims at analyzing and improving our pupils’ work experience schemes, more particularly for those who study Energetics. The main line which has held our attention is the ecological issue, especially renewable energies, their production and efficiency so as to train both French and Norwegian pupils and make them develop their professional skills.
Our project involves two high-schools which have already taken part to European schemes and whose know-how enables us to lay out a more elaborate ‘strategic’ partnership.
Pupils and teachers alike will join in the project which will extend over two years.
In the course of the first twelve months, adults from both high-schools will meet one another, exchange and work together with the aim of creating some pedagogical tools. During the second year our purpose will be the same as what will have been done the year before and pupils will also be integrated to the project.
The long-lasting purpose of this project is to enable companies to understand the expectations of the State Education System and make our best to make them square with theirs.
As a conclusion, the French Norwegian partnership will help us to define the professional skills and knowledge expected from our pupils within the context of their training course.
In September 2019, on an experimental basis, we will welcome apprentices in our energetic sections. The experience of our Norwegian counterpart in work-study is fundamental for us, especially on the monitoring of our students’ achievements and on the support of young people in training.
