Project Summary

The mission of MakeSense is to help social entrepreneurs to solve their challenges and develop their projects. MakeSense mobilizes young volunteers all over the world to organize creativity workshops for these social entrepreneurs. In 4 years, MakeSense has gathered 30 000 young people to help 800 social entrepreneurs. We use methodologies that we co-created based on design-thinking methodologies and collective intelligence. Eveything is open-source for the volunteers to be able to help social entrepreneurs within their own territory, on every continents, and the online plateform connects everyone together. To go further in the accompaniement of the social entrepreneurs the parisian community launched SenseCube Paris 2 years ago.Active since 3 years in Belgium, members of the belgian community decided to launch SenseCube Brussels to accompany the projectholders on a longer term. The SenseCube is more than a simple incubator. The start-ups benefit also from:- an international community of early-adopters, allowing to replicate and scale-up faster- a network of contacts, experts and partners in more than 100 cities on the 5 continents- a real expertise in the creation and animation of communitiesThe objectives of SenseCube Brussels after 1 year are:- double the community of young people involved in the movement- make emerge a real involvement of youth within the social entrepreneurship ecosystem- generate at least 75% of incomes through our side activities- strengthen our partnerships
