Project Summary
We live in a troubled world and our positive attitude towards coping with the problems is already half a victory against them. Good emotional attitude to the difficult matter of knowledge is the fastest and easiest way to master it. We chose school activities that have a positive emotional impact on students such as sports, art, drama, dance, literature, languages, as we have found interesting innovative ways to study and improve them.
“Share my emotion” is a project that offers different ways to motivate students by creating positive emotions by participating in innovative practices in Music, Art, English, Literature, Dance and Sports. The use of interactive and innovative English methods is a reason for successful learning of language and foreign cultures. The use of specific techniques in arts classes represents newly discovered talents; future athletes in sports classes , singers and dancers in dance and singing clubs. These activities create a sense of pride and belonging to school, city, state and society. A positive emotion is created for children from different ethnic groups and children with special educational needs who are involved in these activities. This helps their social inclusion and development.
The aim of the project is to exchange good practices, joint activities with partner schools to make the school a desirable territory for the student .The overall positive emotion is a guarantee for improving the quality of education and training in the cooperation and mutual assistance of students as future European citizens.
The main participants in the project are students and teachers from Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Cyprus, Turkey.
The teachers involved in the project aim to show interesting innovative practices in the field of music, art, language, literature, sports, dance and at the same time learn new foreign techniques and show how they apply them in the learning process.
The planned activities include students from the age of 7 to 15 and their teachers in classes, self-education classes and specialized clubs. All partners work on a common program of activities, working on an ethnographic map, working on a thematic calendar and presenting the work done and learned at the end of the project. By developing an electronic ethnographic map, students learn about their ethnographic areas, learn their dances and customs and traditions, make national costumes. The creation of a national ethnographic map shows the national identity of each country and leads to a sense of belonging and pride. On the other hand, sharing and studying foreign ethnographic maps, studying foreign songs and dances enriches the knowledge of other European peoples, develop a sense of respect for other nationalities. in this way pupils’ talents are also manifested – singing, drawing and modeling their foreign language skills. Those who are good with their computer skills help place the map on the project site. Students perform activities on a thematic calendar which is common to all and is divided by interests – Music, Art, Literature, English, Sports . Participating in sporting activities and contemporary dances shows us the good athletes and dancers who share their successes and dreams with their peers from Europe. Students talk about their national heroes and holidays, write stories and fairy tales together, play role plays and drama, and develop their skills and competences in literature and English.
The final performance of all partners includes dramatization, studied songs and dances, sports show, contemporary dances, cheerleading dances and the presentation of good teacher`s techniques. All these activities from the thematic calendar are carried out jointly by the partners.
Shared emotions are a guarantee for the success of the project.
The concrete results of this project are: Motivated students who will study in a school of desire, including students of different backgrounds, social status and children with special educational needs ,teachers who use innovative training techniques and interrupt the stereotype of the classroom, parents working with students and teachers, public support from regional school authorities and local economic authorities, support from a political representative responsible for education development , enhancing the authority of schools and increasing access for newcomers , achieving quality education in line with modern European trends.
