Project Summary

New challenges in small towns is a project with a duration of 2 years, which involves the schools CEIP Ntra. Sr. de la Cabeza de María (Spain), St. Viator de Sopuerta (Spain), Szkola PodstawoTwa im. KS. pralata Józefa Bigusa w Baninie (Poland), Istituto comprehensive Santo Stefano di Camastra (Italy), Agrupamento de escolas de trumpet Court (Portugal). The project is designed for students aged 10 to 15, and it is inclusive. There will be exchanges of students in which boys and girls of all partners will participate.
The project focuses on working, developing, enhancing and disseminating the key competence of ” initiative sense and entrepreneurship”. We propose two final tasks: to develop a traditional recipe book and market it at both a physical and digital level. Another task will be to create a mini-business of social nature. We want our students to have contact with real life and awakening them in initiatives, that are able to “undertake” and manage educational mini-businesses.
Among our goals we emphasise the next ones:
Our objectives are:
* Medium-term increase of the number of entrepreneurs and the decrease of the abandonment of rural areas.
* Give our students the tools and basic knowledge for entrepreneurship.
* Enhance the educational and social value of Europe’s cultural heritage, its contribution to job creation, economic growth and social cohesion
* Encourage those pupils who are at risk of exclusion or dropout reinforcing the identity and group membership.
* Promote linguistic, social communication and establish bonds of friendship by stimulating the idea of European citizenship.
* Enhance the inclusiveness and equality of opportunities for all our students.
Activities have been raised to achieve these objectives and their implementation will be carried out on a regular basis according to an established schedule.
In the evaluation, we will integrate the results of satisfaction of all stakeholders, directly or indirectly. The evaluation will be done in a quantitative manner: using tables, forms (form google), surveys, quantification of results, Excel table with data of sales, expenses, establish measurable indicators. Also the evaluation board from a qualitative point of view based on observation reports on the activities and events of the project.
Dissemination activities are fundamental to this project, each project partner must participate actively in this task. Therefore, partner schools will remain a day with opportunities for publications, workshops, meetings of organizations, lectures, conferences and participation in various events that enable the dissemination of our project.
