Project Summary
We aim for teachers and students to participate in the European exchange program and to cooperate with our colleagues in Europe so that children with special education in the EU process receive equal education and full participation in society. Special education students according to the EU approach, are individuals struggling to integrate with society. Facilitating their personal, mental and emotional development, Our very active Give Your Hand To Art eTwinning project (https://live.etwinning.net/projects/project/ 199946) led to the creation of our Erasmus + Ka229 project idea in order to cope with the problems in their lives. etwinning’te of 6 schools (Turkey, Italy, Lithuania, Greece, Romania and Estonia) have decided to continue with our cooperation Erasmus + Ka229 project. Our project includes 5 Special Education Schools where students with special needs education and 1 school (Italy) providing education by fusing other students with special education needs and other peers in the same environment. We will carry out our Erasmus + Ka 229 project with hard-working partners who know their duties and responsibilities in eTwinning. This project provides personal, mental, to facilitate their emotional development, It was created because of the need to help them cope with the stresses and problems in their lives and enable them to enjoy life. Students with special needs We are in contact with our project partners who are willing to share their experiences on integration with art and society and are open to development with different art therapy applications. We are a strong team willing to run this project. Our goal with our project, to observe the working environments of our colleagues working in the field of special education in different countries,Expanding our perspective by sharing good practices and innovations is to empower teachers with art therapy experiences that exist in other countries in order to create solutions with art therapy against the social and psychological problems of students. Participant teachers apply special art therapy to their students and make these applications widespread in their schools. speech disorders, psychological and social problems, introversion, will be able to create solutions to problems such as lack of self-confidence, stress and depression, lack of attention and concentration. They will develop their imagination and creativity and enable them to integrate with society. Learning Teaching Traning (LTT) activities will be carried out in coordination with the partners in the project. 6 LTT activities will be carried out in our project.

Teachers who provide education to students with special needs will participate in the learning-teaching training of our project. It is planned that 3 teachers from each country will participate in the project mobility. Art therapists will also take part in our project in order to provide training in learning and teaching. Our project will make a great contribution to teachers’ becoming fully equipped about different art therapies. Each school will have its own project participant selection commission, and a fair selection will be made in line with the participant selection criteria. Each of our partners will establish an evaluation team. Preparing the interview and evaluation report with the qualitative evaluation tool before and after the activity, applying a survey that measures the development of art therapy,
professional and individual development forms, will be responsible for completing evaluation reports. The reports will be shared with the partners’ evaluation teams.
The partners’ art therapy knowledge and ability to practice will be enriched and able to apply art therapy in their classrooms. Participants will transfer their knowledge, skills and experience gained from transnational cooperation to other colleagues in their institutions through seminars and workshop practices. In this way, art therapy methods and techniques will be applied to students in our institutions, and opportunities will be created for all students with special needs to benefit from art therapy. Awareness will be raised about professional cooperation and project production in institutions.
A project dissemination team will be created with our project partners. Dissemination teams will hold a logo design contest, project activities will be displayed in the Erasmus + corner, posters and brochures will be printed, the dissemination activities of our project will be kept up to date on social media and websites.
